The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Elkridge Furnace Inn. The venue has an accessible entrance.
Will transportation to the wedding be provided?
Yes, transportation from the BWI Airport Marriott to the Elkridge Furnace Inn (and vice versa) will be provided. More details, including timing, will be provided. There is parking onsite for those who wish to drive themselves. Please arrive by 4:30 pm.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Formal - suit and tie or a dress (knee-length or longer). There is a brick walkway to the ceremony space, so please keep this in mind when choosing your shoes!
The ceremony is outdoors and cocktail hour will take place both inside and outside. What will the weather be like?
Typically, the temperature in early November in Maryland ranges from the upper-50s to mid-60s. Blankets will be provided for the ceremony, and there will be outdoor space heaters for cocktail hour. The reception will take place in a climate-controlled tent. If there is rain, all events will be held inside the venue.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Kelly and Brendon ask that you keep your phones away for the duration of the ceremony. A photographer and videographer will be professionally documenting the ceremony and those photos and video will be shared with guests once they are available.
What type of food will be served at the wedding?
You will be served hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Guests with dietary restrictions or food allergies should note them on the RSVP. Our venue can accommodate for special dietary circumstances.
How can I give a wedding gift?
Your presence at the wedding is the greatest gift Kelly and Brendon could ask for! If you would like to honor them with a gift, you can visit the "Registry" tab on this website, which is now available. A wedding card box will be at the reception.
May I bring my kids to the wedding?
Unfortunately, Kelly and Brendon cannot host any children at their wedding. Your understanding is much appreciated!
